Scroll to the bottom for ways you can take action, preserve our legacy, support kids, and invest in the local economy.
Across every building, classroom, and corner of our expansive school district, stories unfold that bind us—alumni and community members alike—to a rich, collective legacy. Within these walls, we've celebrated milestones, raised banners in triumph, applauded record-setters and award-winners, and built relationships that span years. Schools are not just places of learning; they are the heart of the community– bearing witness to decades of achievement and connection. Especially in small towns, schools stand as monuments to our history, our accomplishments, and our shared values.
Supporting our schools is an act of profound stewardship, essential for preserving our legacy and sharing cherished traditions with future generations. Through actions like coaching and volunteering, many of us actively contribute to this legacy, embodying our commitment to an educational environment that fosters community spirit and invests in the potential of local kids. Years of hard work by community members built programs and experiences that keep students motivated and engaged. Their efforts have made a difference in the lives of our youth and are truly something worth celebrating.
Years of hard work by community members have built programs and experiences that have made a difference in the lives of our youth.
Yet, our schools—and the legacy they carry—are at a pivotal juncture. Conflict entrepreneurs, ignoring the essential role schools play in our community, seek to further destabilize the school district and slash critical resources. They want to convince us to turn our backs on the schools and kids at a time when support is vital. A failed levy means failing our children and, by extension, our community's future prosperity. We must ask ourselves: what kind of legacy are we leaving if we allow the foundation of our community to crumble?

Strong schools are integral to our past and crucial to our community's future. Supporting the levy is not just an investment in bricks and mortar; it's an affirmation of our shared small-town values, local history, and commitment to the next generation. Let's stand united in this cause. Our schools are our legacy, and it is a legacy worth fighting for.
