Vote YES for the upcoming school levy! Our district needs to start progressing in a positive direction that supports our children. That support is based upon providing an education that not only meets the state’s graduation requirements but allows for growth within all areas of education.

This growth needs to be supported by options in all pathways: vocational, two and four-year university, arts, and many others. These options are directly supported by our local levy. Reducing options, as we have been doing for five years, is reducing the quality of education for the graduates we are providing our communities.

Our state’s system for funding is challenging. However, it provides for local control.

Our state’s system for funding is challenging. However, it provides for local control. Moving forward with a plan to negotiate a better funding formula is a discussion worth having, but one that comes with time. Our district doesn’t have time; we are losing our teachers, administrators, and support staff. Recruitment for these positions is very difficult within a system that has very little stability.

Vote YES to support kids and move our community forward!
